Kitoru the Doll Beast

The Beginning

 A mother sat sewing a small purple and green doll for her son. She wanted to give each stitch had meaning as she put as much love into the design as was possible. She knew she would not be long on this earth so she wanted her boy to have something that reminded him of her and held all the love she had for him inside. As she sewed she hummed a small tune and with it the doll absorbed the love of the mother. When she finished sewing the last button eye on, she wrapped it up by tying a bow around its waist and placed it in her son’s bed as he slept. The boy clung to the doll that night and when he awoke he gasped and rushed to his mother who just smiled softly and told him that the doll was for him and if he showed the doll love and affection then she would always know of his love herself. He decided to name the Doll Kitoru but would call it Kit sometimes. The boy ran around with the doll always with him. He never spent a moment without the doll with him. As Kit absorbed more and more love it started to make shape and the beast was born. He looked out for the boy as if it was his own child all because of the mother’s love. As the mother past the beast tried to comfort the boy and the boy held the doll tightly remembering what his mother said. Show the doll love and she would feel it herself. He never forgot. As he grew up he would call Kitoru Super Kit or Kitteh whenever they played make believe. The boy read to him each and every night before bed and they would snuggle until the boy eventually fell asleep.  He loved the boy and wanted to bring joy into his life so while the boy slept each night Kit would wander around in search for anything that could make him smile. Sometimes he would bring back a small flower, other times he would bring something shiny, maybe a small coin or marble. He really had interest in nature and shiny objects and would leave the items on the small table next to the bed each night. The boy at first wondered how the items would get there but he always felt a presence of something within his doll and started thinking it was his mother bringing him gifts. Kitoru did not mind being mistaken as he never showed his beast form to the boy and did care for the boy just as his mother did. They spent most days happy and care free but sometimes there were moments where the dad drank and was rude and mentally abusive towards the boy. He drank because of the loss of his wife and he wasn’t a bad father and never hit the boy but at times he didn’t want to look at him. Sometimes would say things he would regret later. Kit didn’t know how to accept the emotions and feelings from the father and did not like the anger. He grew to dislike the darker emotions he sometimes had and thus would try to stay away from the father as much as possible. The boy felt unwanted at times but it wasn’t often the father would say such things or drink to excess. He knew his father was in much pain just like him so he started to gift items to the dad just as the doll had done for him. Kit giggled when he noticed the boy moving his gifts to the father’s little table instead. The father at first did not know what to do with these strange items and flowers but one day he spotted his son bringing them to him and he cracked a small smile for the first time in forever. The father learned that day that the boy wanted to show he cared for his father just as his mother cared for him and they both started to work on making the home have more love throughout it again. Kit started to bring gifts for both father and son now as he could feel the boy wanted to help his father to get out of the dark state he had at times. The father started to drink less and less and started to treat the boy better and didn’t say as harsh of things. There were always mistakes but he tried daily to show that he never wanted the boy to feel unwanted again.

Nickname: Kit, Super Kit or Kitteh by his human child

Species: Doll Beast

Beast Height: 6’ 2” when standing up. 4’ 6” when on all fours; Doll is about 2’ in length 9including tail) and about 7” around

Likes: collecting shiny items, collecting flowers and seeing all the beauty in nature, hearing people hum or sing quietly, kids of all ages, especially his human child, showing others the love they can have inside them,  and loves to be read to by his human

Dislikes: whenever his human is crying, and darker emotions/feelings that manifest inside people’s hearts.

Appearance: Kit has a small frame and slender body in both his doll form and beast form. His fur is short but fluffed slightly. He has dark purplish blue on his head that creeps down half of his back with strong black stripes on his sides and neck. Also has a black Mohawk of fur along his back and his tail is mostly black with a few small patches of green. Most of his body is a minty lime green and his paws each have a small white sock along with the tip of his tail. His eyes are bright lime green buttons as a doll and though the same color as beast form they also may glow faintly. On top of his head are two horns protruding out and back towards his rear parallel to each other and double the size of his head both in doll form and beast form. When in doll form you do not see his tongue but in his beast form he has a lengthy purple tongue that he would use to lick his human if he ever decides to try to show himself to the boy.

 Personality: He acts very child like himself at times do to how much time he has spent with his human boy. As a beast he is a bit shy and leans more to a submissive nature but is very friendly. He also is very protective of his boy and even the boy’s father as he feels they are his family too.

Why I would Love him: I have a story I started about a father and his son and would love for the boy to have something to remember his mother by but also to help his father get over some difficulties of his own. The color choices are all very close to my favorite colors myself and I would do nothing but love him forever. I actually would love to design an actual doll just like this in the future too as it is beautiful. I love the colors and design and even the little stitch details. Everything about this just makes me so happy and I can’t see a different design being better.
